Terrorist, bombs, suicide, droughts, murder the list just goes on and it makes me worry how the world got like this. How one person could have so much hate to take another ones life. It makes me cry to see how many tears have fallen for the innocent lives lost and how it only seems to be getting worse. But then I see things like little Bindy who is so brave. You see she has a great heart and the way she is carrying on her dad’s work gives me a little bit of hope that there is still more good then evil out there in the world. While on holiday I had to write my “I am” poem and some of my inspiration came from these few things .So I would like to show you it.

“I am”
I am the flower and the window
I wonder how many people will see through me
I hear the shattering of glass
I see people try to break me
I want people to see the life inside the body
I am the flower and the window

I pretend to be something I’m not
I feel ashamed of the lack of courage I have
I touch the music and the words I write
I worry they reveal to much
I cry as I know no one will hear them
I am the flower and the window

I understand there are worse off then I
I say I know the world is breaking
I dream of a day when there is know more suffering
I try to help those I can
I hope one day I’ll make a difference
I am the flower and the window

Most likely you would say a school teacher. Although you are not wrong, you also have forgotten to mention the other teachers in your life. For instance your parents, your friends. I believe to classify someone as a teacher you have had to at some point learned something from them. Whether it was to play the guitar, count to 3 or to even tie your shoelace 

 

What makes a good teacher? 

 

I find that a personality makes a good teacher. They do not only have the knowledge behind what they are teaching but is interesting, nice and fun so the learner wants to listen to them. I have had the experience with mean teachers who have this incredibly boring voice which bores you and you just end up loosing concentration and can only think about getting out of the room. 

 

I would finally like to finish up with telling you about some of my favourite teachers. One of my favourite teachers is my music teacher. Who is interesting and funny but often weird. My other favourite teacher is of course my English teacher –cough cough- but really she is very good, like all good teachers is interesting and nice and she gave me a A+. This might sound weird but my other favourite teacher is my brother. He has taught me its okay to have fun and to sometimes be crazy, if you ever meet him you’ll no what I mean.

I don’t think that i have learnt much about myself this term…i enjoyed writing my short story, i often don’t write stories like that so that was cool

second qusetion: What are you looking forward to in your life in general?

I look forward to leaving a school and hopefully doing a job that i want to do. I would love to be a zoologist. I’m sending in an application form to do work experience there next year…but only one person from our school can go so i really hope i get it.

I would love to be a pro drummer! That would be awsome!!!

Welcome to my blog! This is my first blog that I’ve ever done so it’s not that great yet. But I would like to introduce my self first. The title of my blog relates to the things that I like. Cause basically I like most stuff that is old.

I love old music. Mostly anything from the late 1930’s to the early 1980’s. The bands range from the The Platters all the way to Bruce Springsteen. My favourite band/singer is Alice Cooper. I’ve been to two of his concerts with my dad. It was awsome and really loud, it almost felt like the music was hitting you it was that loud. I also love playing music. I can play the guitar and i’m teaching myself how to play the keyboard. I learn the drums at school, which is great, its awsome fun. My favourite drummers are Neal Smith from Alice Cooper and Mick Fleetwood from Fleetwood Mac.

I also love old cars, the Rover 10 is the best car, you know with the big covers over the wheels oh and old hats, you have to love old hats.

I like a few old movies oh and Elvis movies
